A road near Ellesmere is closed after multiple tree branches brought down a telegraph wire.
West Mercia Police told drivers to find an “alternative route” after a branch came down on the Ellesmere to Shrewsbury Road this morning (October 20).
The road has now since reopened.

The A528 was closed between Ellesmere and Cockshutt, with witnesses reporting emergency services in attendance as they looked to clear the road.
Traffic information showed traffic moving slowly with none travelling on the section of road near Colemere.
Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Team shared a picture on their social media of the road which showed a large amount of debris and branches covering the road.
The photo also shows that the fallen branches have taken down a telegraph wire.
Officers at the scene said the debris from the fallen tree had caused “complete road blockage” and to find an “alternative route”.
The road reopened around 11am with Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Team thanking a local farmer for their help clearing the road.
In a post online an officer of the team said: "Thanks to a fantastic local farmer James Cooper from Kenwick farm, the Ellesmere to Cockshutt Road has now reopened.
"Please drive carefully as there is mud and debris on the road, highways have been made aware and will attend."
