Emergency crews were called to a gas leak at a property in Whitchurch.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service and West Mercia Police were called to a property in Claypit Street on Monday evening (October 28).
According to the fire service the leak had been caused by damage to the gas pipes.
The fire service confirmed that Cadent Gas managed to shut off gas to the property and “isolated” the problem.

A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 8.53pm on Monday October 28, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Gas Leak in Whitchurch.
“One fire appliance was mobilised from Whitchurch.
“Also at the scene of the incident were the police and a utility company.
“There was a gas leak within property due to damage to gas pipes. Cadent Gas have isolated gas supply.”
