A WHIXALL man died after falling through his greenhouse, cutting his wrist before collapsing in his kitchen, a coroner has ruled.
David Wragg, 72 and of Hollinswood, died on August 28 at around 7pm having been found by a friend unresponsive in the kitchen having suffered a large amount of blood loss.
Shropshire coroner John Ellery heard that on the date, it appeared that Mr Wragg had tried to recover in his kitchen after his accident in the garden as there was a trail of blood from one location to the other.

Mr Wragg was last seen being dropped off by his friend following a meal on August 26. But he had not been seen for two days, leading to a welfare check and the discovery of his body.

Coroner’s officer Michael Caesar-Hondon read out the details to the court in the fast-track inquest on October 30. He said Mr Wragg dropped his phone after the incident and that it was likely he banged his head in the kitchen when he fell to the floor.
Mr Ellery concluded his death was an accident.
