Ellesmere Town Council has confirmed there will be discussions on issues around local crime, building works and upcoming events.
The full council meeting which is set to take place on Monday (November 4) will see the council look at a variety of issues affecting the town.
The meeting will see a report from local police officers as various concerns have been raised in the town about vandalism and speeding.
There will also be a discussion on work to that may be taking place on Cross Street which will be looking at “the area and the improvements needed”.
The council has confirmed that will be considering a recommendation from the Planning and Infrastructure Committee to allow the Section 106 Cornovii Monies Working Group to investigate spending the Section 106 money on Cross Street promenade.
Further to this there will also be a vote to consider options to replace the camera on Trimpley/Victoria Street.
Ellesmere Town Council will also discuss a Burial Risk Assessment report regarding the cemetery that was produced “following the soil sampling at the cemetery”.
The council will also be putting a call out for volunteers for two major events between now and the end of the year - Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday and the Christmas light switch-on.
