A WEM man has denied wounding a police officer intentionally during an attempt to arrest him, among other offences.
Jamie Henderson-Jones, 25 and of Brookside in Wem, pleaded not guilty to three charges at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Friday, November 8.
He is accused of wounding PC Jack Harper with intent in an incident in Cordwell Park, in Wem, on Wednesday, July 10.

Henderson-Jones also denied assaulting PCSO Elizabeth Walmsley as well as causing criminal damage to a window.
Recorder Julian Taylor told the defendant that he faces a trial on October 6 in 2025.
He was told not to enter Cordwell Park in Wem; however, the defendant raised concerns about his bail conditions and was assured that a bif to vary them will be heard in court soon.
