Whitchurch Town Council has invited residents to this year’s Christmas light switch on.
The switch on which will take place on Saturday (November 23) will see a range of fun activities on offer this year.
There will be music, Christmas Markets and a visit form Santa on at the High Street and Green End from lunchtime before the main event which kicks off at 4pm.

The main light switch on will take place at 5pm will see appearances from the Town Pirate and the award for this year’s citizen of the year.
In a post online a spokesperson for Whitchurch Town Council said: “Not long to go now. Join us this Saturday for a whole afternoon of Festive Family Fun.
“But we'll also be keeping a watchful eye on the weather throughout the week and any updates or last-minute changes will be posted on our Facebook page.”
