THERE was a surprise for people in Whitchurch during the heavy snowfall this week after a car ended up in a town field.
A poster to the Friends of Whitchurch community group, Julie Pierce, posted a picture of the car down an embankment into a field in London Road, opposite the town’s Sainsbury’s store.
It is not known how the car came to be in the field but it appears the fence was knocked down along the way.
The field usually plays home to sheep grazing on the grass and their current status is unknown.
