THREE former Ellesmere College students will don the famous red of Wales after earning call ups to the Welsh under 23s hockey camp.
Twin sisters and midfield duo Caro and Lottie Hulme are joined by goalkeeper Alanah O'Brien in earning their place in the Welsh squad for a three match test series against Scotland which starts in Durham on Wednesday.
Caro Hulme, who hails from Bronygarth, has won 21 senior caps and represented Great Britain at U23 level.
This will be her first appearance for Wales in over two years during which time she was forced to take a break from the game owing to illness and injury.
She plays for Nottingham-based side, Beeston in the England Women's Premier Hockey League.
Caro said: ''I am really enjoying playing again and excited about the test series coming up. The games against Scotland are always very competitive.''
