WEM'S bike racing star Isaac Vickery received an exciting invitation to join the prestigious ROTOR Race Team recently and without hesitation, eagerly embraced the opportunity.
At just 12 years old Isaac has become the youngest member of this talented group of bike racers hailing from different parts of the United Kingdom.
Isaac's decision to join the team was motivated by the camaraderie and mutual support the racers offer one another, along with the backing provided by the team during national races.

His father Richard said: “Isaac was keen to join the team for the support the racers give each other, and the support the team gives racers at national competition.
“He loves his new red and black kit, and the encouragement he has received from the older boys in the race team has been inspiring.”
Competing in 12 races donning his new team colours, Isaac emerged victorious in each one, culminating in him clinching the coveted title of the Welsh Cross Country Mountain Bike Series.
Looking ahead, Isaac has an eventful schedule planned.
In August, he will embark on a training expedition to Villandry in the Alps, honing his skills in preparation for future challenges.
Upon his return in September, he will set his sights on triumphing in the Scottish Stage Race in Glasgow, which is renowned as the most prestigious under-12s race in the UK.

Come October, the 12-year-old will transition to his cyclocross bike, venturing into the highly competitive arena of the British National Cyclocross series.
This year's series will take place in Derby, Sunderland, Falkirk, Milnthorpe, Torbay, and Gravesend, necessitating some considerable mileage for Isaac's supportive dad who will accompany him.
