THE next generation of Lionesses could be discovered at Whitchurch Alport with an open day for girls next week.
A spokesman for the Reds said: "We have some really exciting news that we are holding an open day for any girls aged seven to 15, with an interest in playing football this year.
"After the fantastic success of the Lionesses, now is the perfect time for girls to enjoy the beautiful game.

"Details for the day are Sunday, August 21from 10am-12pm before Alport Women first league game at 2pm at Yockings Park, Whitchurch SY13 1PG.
"All girls aged seven-15.
