ADAM Shillcock has urged Whitchurch Alport players and supporters not to become distracted with the FA Cup.

The Reds boss has prioritised success in the Midlands Premier League this season but insisted an FA Cup run would provide exposure for the club and town with the club taking on Runcorn Linnets or Wythenshawe in the first qualifying round.

He said: “I’m hearing the words ‘creating history’ banded about all too often and of course we want to break records but I don’t want us defined by winning just one more game in the FA Cup, it’s not enough.
