WHITCHURCH Alport resume their FA Cup adventure on Saturday when Wythenshawe in the first qualifying round.

Manager Adam Shillcock called on supporters to make a wall of noise at Yockings Park.

He said: “We need an energy and belief system to overcome and create a legacy.

“I expect Wythenshawe to bring fans in their hundreds having watched them last week.

“They are loud and boisterous which epitomise a typical Manchester club. Our success on the afternoon will rely on how we get a measure of everything right both on and off the field against a very good club and side.

“In a footballing context it will be a war and we must be prepared to win every battle on the afternoon.”
