WHITCHURCH Alport strolled to a 4-0 win at home to Uttoxeter Town in the Midlands Premier League on Saturday.
The damage was done early with Callum Knowles and Lewis Brown netting inside the opening 12 minutes before a Harry Bower double ensured the Reds the points.
Ellesmere Rangers needed penalties to seal their progress following a 1-1 draw at Whitchurch Alport 1946 in the Shropshire County Cup with Max Jones firing the Swans ahead before Josh Madeley levelled for the hosts.
However it was Ellesmere who held their nerve to progress 4-3 on penalties.

Morda United strolled to a 7-0 win at Wem Colts with Tsvetomir Bedzhev and Logan Richards leading the spree with doubles while Marc Griffiths, Tom Gale and Karl Bailey goals completed the rout.
Ethan Hanmer-Thomas netted twice and goals from John Hitchen, Tyler Delo and Ollie Dunn helped Wem Town to a 5-5 draw at home to Brown Clee before the hosts prevailed 4-2 on penalties.
Prees United bowed out following a 4-2 defeat at Telford Town with a Logan Mansell double proving consolation as goals from Oliver Cooper, Andrew Nicol, Daniel Beddows and Essa Faburay ensured the hosts’ progress.
Felicity Townsend struck twice as Ellesmere Rangers completed a 5-1 win over Allscott Heath in the first round of the Shropshire Women’s Cup on Sunday while Rebecca Roberts, Katelyn Tilston and Nicola Bradley goals ensured Mere’s progress.
