WHITCHURCH Alport climbed to third in the Midlands Premier League table with a 3-0 win at home to Studley on Saturday.

The club held its Remembrance Day tribute with the Whitchurch Armed forces and Veterans breakfast club guests of honour for the day.

Goals from Lewis Bloor, Ollie Holden and Callum Knowles ensured a comfortable win for the Reds.

It’s a massive week coming up for the Reds with with Coalville visiting Yockings park in the second round of the FA Vase.

Wem Town's miserable Salop Leisure Premier League season continued with a 4-2 defeat at home to Newport Town with two goals from Ethan Thomas cancelled out by doubles from Emmanuel Osei and Ryan Jones.
